Making of Part 2 & Fashion Part 6

You might know Waldbrand since I posted about him earlier on this blog. Though he is living next door, we got into touch via internet. Since then we were discussing to create something together and we finally made it! He designed and printed a lovely dress which is available right now. To promote it we met for a shoot in his new studio he is sharing with two more artists. Eating Stroopwafels and shooting several pics this is one of the pics that we came up with and a few more how we did it!

Fashion Part 5 & Music I like part 7

“Let me have a Tshirt for 35 Deutsch Marks!” I still remember that line from good old The High and Mighty "Homefield Advantage" record! If you still want a shirt you may just hook me up! My shirt has a marvelous print on black American Apparel Ts. The design was delivered fresh out of the charging Hotcheese Crew factory. I met these guys when they threw a party at a gallery in Kassel and invited me to play. We had great party and when I woke up the next morning they were still partying at the rooftop of the gallery. And since they don’t only know how to party but also know how to treat some paint, a few month later the collaboration shirt was finished. Have a look at the pic how awesome it looks at Lionel from DSL.

By the way, DSL just released their new EP “Stupid Bitches” with great songs and a fantastic remix by DatA. I am already looking forward to see DatA dj in my hometown, Essen, next week. His tracks “rapture” and “one in a million” were on heavy rotation in EMMAland over the last couple of month.

Fashion Part 4

What a weekend. I am not really up to date with writing about my live shows. But I am going to get some pics of the past gigs soon and gonna catch up, promised. In the meantime I will let you know about one of my favourite piece of cloth. It’s my golden Nikes. They are limited edition, so it might be hard to get hold of them. They have a very smooth surface and a tiny little red theatre drop at the back. Just have a look at them. Gorgeous. NeonSleep shot the pic at the Villa in Berlin. 

Fashion Part 3

I wanted to blog about fashion again. This time I will let you know about a designer from Great Britain, I found on myspace. Looking at the exchange rates it is definietly cool buying stuff from the UK at the moment. (At least if you are from Europe)

This designer goes by the Name of "Brandnew Secondhand" . She is very friendly and got lots of dresses on her My Space Page. All handmade. On the pic I am wearing one of her dresses at the Videoshoot for the upcoming EMMA clip.

The dress is more than great, but the packaging in which it arrived was the cherry on the cake. A pink plastic envelop. I got to get hold of some of them to send my promo, I guess.

Fashion Part 2

Hometown.

Yes, there are some creative minds in Essen City indeed.

One of them is Alexander Ludewig. He is creating limited edition fashion pieces for his lable Waldbrand. On the pic above I am wearing one of his works on 2008s Juicy Beats Festival.

His prints combine nature and urbanity, which probably reflect his hometown.

Forget about Paris, this is Essen.

first of all, I wanted to let you know about SWK.

It's a small fashion lable founded by fashion designers Sara Bönsch and Jörn Quellmann.
